Including the name of the recipient in your salutation has a way of triggering the curiosity of the reader. They will want to know what you have for them.
The first question in their mind will be, “Who is this person who is greeting me by my name?” “What do they have for me?” “What do they want to tell me?”
I mean all these questions will be lingering in their minds and will be eager to read the entire email that you sent them just because of greeting them by name.
Including the name of the receiver in your email marketing template is one way of personalizing the email and is likely to have higher conversions.
