YouTube Shorts Monetization Rules 2021
Like other videos on YouTube, YouTube shorts videos have to follow the set YouTube community policies. One of the YouTube shorts monetization requirements is that the video must be at most 60 seconds.
As you are uploading your video on your smartphone, you will see the option of whether to upload 15 second or a 60 seconds video. YouTube shorts beta automatically sets the videos at 15 seconds, but it becomes 60 seconds when you tap.

As usual, ensure the shorts are original and not copyrighted from somewhere else. YouTube has never encouraged uploading copyrighted materials. Therefore be creative enough and come up with something unique.
Another YouTube shorts monetization rule is that the YouTube shorts videos should not be biased. For example, they should not spread hate, violence, or demean a certain group of people based on their race, gender, or religion.

Thanks much my friend.
thanks for the article, very useful) yesterday I read more about continuous streams on the air creators ecosystem blog, and they wrote that such streams attract new subscribers well. What do you think about it?
Hi Colin, thanks…when it comes to growing on YouTube especially for a new channel, being consistent in your uploads is very important. On continuous streams, if you have the gadget for streaming, then go for it, it will always attract new subscribers, that’s for sure.
