Assuming that every applicant has very good grades, what next do you think the selection panel will check? Definitely, they will check their extracurricular activities. That means if you don’t have such activities, you will be kicked out of the shortlisting.
Good grades should go hand in hand with extracurricular activities to make you relevant and outstanding when every applicant has things in common. They could just be looking for that one person who has something outstanding above other applicants.
Some of the most valuable extracurricular activities are having skills in sports, arts, music, and critical thinking. Of course, they will look at the many certificates and recognitions you have gained over the years. Where have your skills been recognized? If they can’t find it, you will end up losing your scholarship in Canada.
