YPP allows you to come up with original content that makes your members feel special in the channel memberships feature. There are various perks that one can come up with that are only accessible by your paid members. Some of these perks include:

1. Custom Emojis

This is where you can upload some custom emoji that can be easily accessed by the members. The entitled members can use emojis in the live chats or when commenting on your YouTube premium videos. Just go to the membership page, and click the “Edit” button on the “Your Badges and Emoji” card. 

To get paid from YouTube premium, YPP will require you to come up with a family name for your emojis which you can generate using certain prefix names. It will make it easy for your members to search for any emoji. Come up with a renowned family name. 

Every emoji should have a name that contains between 3 and 10 alphanumeric characters. Your YouTube premium members can use the name to autocomplete when searching for certain emoji names. To edit a certain name, you will be required to delete the emoji and re-upload.

It is good to note that the emoji should be in GIF, JPEG, or PNG file format with a size of 1MB and a dimension of 48px x 48px to 480px x 480px. On mobile devices, emojis are usually 24 x 24px while on desktop they show 48 x 48 points. To be paid from YouTube premium a substantial amount, ensure you comply with these specifications.

The number of your members determines how many Emojis you can upload. The more the members in subscription, the more emojis you can upload. For example, if you only have 20 members, you can upload 9 emojis while if you have 4,000 members, you can upload 45 emojis.
