Do YouTube Shorts Count For Monetization?
As previously mentioned, as we wrote this article, YouTube shorts were not counting for monetization. I know you could be asking, but why? Simply because they have not been integrated into the YPP.
Beautifully, there are plans underway for YouTube shorts monetization. We are not sure how long it will take, but for sure, it is coming very soon.
How To Upload YouTube Shorts
How do you upload the YouTube shorts? Perhaps it is the simplest thing to do, whether for your YouTube shorts monetization or entertainment purposes. You upload the YouTube shorts videos using your smartphone.
- Just log into your channel using your smartphone (hoping you have the YouTube App already)
- At the bottom, click the plus sign (that cross-shaped symbol)
- It will open up a little page with options of uploading a video, creating a short, and Going live.
- Click on the second option, “Create a Short.” That’s what we want.
- It will open up to your rear camera showing 15 seconds and a record button.
- Click on the “15” if you want your video to be longer, and it will change to “60”.
- If you have already recorded your video, touch your left side at the bottom, and it will open up to your gallery.
- Click on the short you want to upload and click “Next.”
- Add the title, description, playlists, location, and visibility. Then click “Next.”
- The video will start uploading. And that’s how you upload YouTube shorts videos and start monetizing them.
I’ve learned several excellent stuff here. Certainly worth bookmarking for revisiting.
I wonder how a lot of effort you place to make this sort of wonderful informative
site.
Thanks much for your comment…Of course, a lot of effort have been put into place.

I’ve got you bookmarked to check out new things you post…
Thanks much my friend.
thanks for the article, very useful) yesterday I read more about continuous streams on the air creators ecosystem blog, and they wrote that such streams attract new subscribers well. What do you think about it?
Hi Colin, thanks…when it comes to growing on YouTube especially for a new channel, being consistent in your uploads is very important. On continuous streams, if you have the gadget for streaming, then go for it, it will always attract new subscribers, that’s for sure.
