2. iWriter
What if I told you that you can earn over $400 for writing a 6,000 words article? Well, that can only be found in one of the highest-paying Fiverr alternatives called iWriter. Numbers don’t lie. Below is a screenshot of the payment checklist of how this platform pays its freelancers.
If you have been on the internet for a long, you must have heard of this freelancing marketplace among many other Fiverr alternatives. The first time I came across this platform was in 2017 when I was looking for a freelancing website that is looking for content writers.
Well, I followed the steps to register with them and I had an account with them. For your information, when you join iWriter, you join as a Standard writer which definitely, does not pay well. From the above screenshot, a standard writer is paid $46.50 for 6,000 words; that’s if you are lucky it is approved.
In 2017, if you completed over 30 tasks, you were promoted to the next level which is Premium. Well, I am not sure, whether they use the same criteria even now. As a Premium writer, you earn better than a Standard write, though not much; you will get $99 for a 6,000-word article.
As you become more diligent and receive more gigs from your clients, you will gain an Elite Badge having three stars. That’s when life starts becoming better. You will start living your dream as a work-from-home mom. For a 6,000 word article, you will be paid $132.
Finally, when you become a real expert in executing your tasks, you will gain an Elite Plus Badge represented by 4 stars. At this level, you have started living a luxurious life as you ever wanted. For a common 6,000 word-article, you will receive a compensation of $435.
As you can see, people are really making a living from this platform. Of course, most of the highest-rated and prolific writers are already in the Elite Plus level. No matter the country you are in, you can gain these levels provided you continuously provide quality work.
iWriter Overview
I consider iWriter as one of the most luxurious Fiverr alternatives that both beginners and experts can earn a living. iWriter came into the freelancing industry in 2011, a year after Fiverr was introduced into the market. Since then, this platform has been committed to offering its clients high-quality content.
According to their statistics, they have 1,461 quality writers, approximately 6500 jobs posted every month, and over 8 million articles written since it was founded. The statistics are as of the time we were writing this article. Of course, more jobs will be posted as time goes by.
Previously, you could become a writer with iWriter and write as many articles as you wanted or as few as your availability allowed. From, there you could continue building a client base hence becoming well-versed with the platform. That will enable you to rise in the ranks from a Standard writer to an Elite Plus member.
The beauty of iWriter that makes it stand out among other Fiverr alternatives is the great payments plan that they pay their freelancers. That means you will spare your energy from negotiating with the client.
Every job posted on iWriter usually comes with a price tag. Also, it comes with its topic; therefore the freelancer chooses the task they are well versed with and completes it. Just like other Fiverr alternatives, the clients on iWriter are given high privileges. If they don’t like your work, am sorry, you may not get paid.
According to my opinion, these freelancing platforms should be giving freelancers a percentage of the client’s budget after their client rejects the work. Why do I say so, you may ask? Because the writer used their time, internet, and skills to have your articles written whether it met the client’s expectations or not.
NOTE: We have written much about iWriter, but it is good to note that they are no longer accepting writers. Well, I don’t the reason for that change in the way they operate. However, I guess it could be their way of retaining only quality writers on their platform.
I also think they want their writers to have enough clients. This is one of the Fiverr alternatives that could have made you thousands of dollars if you had discovered it earlier. I must say that they are quite strict in their operations just like Upwork hence quality writers and content output from their freelancers.
