How Money Reaches You from YouTube
Now that you are seeing your daily revenue on YouTube and reflecting on Google AdSense, the next answer you are seeking is; how do you get paid from YouTube and have the money into your pocket? Well, that involves a little process from Google AdSense.
1. Verify your address or identity
Perhaps this is one of the hiccups that most creators face before getting their revenue into their bank. Google AdSense will send you a 6-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) to your postal address to ensure that you are a real person and you are residing in the geographical location that you stated in your profile.
Depending on the geographical location you are in, they may also require you to perform an identity verification to ascertain that you are the one. AdSense will send the PIN to your postal address which takes around 2-3 weeks before arriving in your postal box.
How do you get paid from YouTube by AdSense? Make sure you have confirmed your address and identity. Failure to verify your address within 4 months, will stop running ads on your websites and YouTube. That should tell you that it is a very serious action that needs to be taken.
After you have received your 6-digit PIN, you will see a section in your dashboard and a notice at the top asking you to verify your address. Just enter the 6 digits in the space provided and hit the verify button. They will then have the go-ahead of releasing your money.
Note: AdSense sends the PIN to your address when you reach the set address verification threshold depending on the currency you are using on your AdSense account. For Euros and Dollars, they send you the PIN after you hit $10 earnings on your account.
