2. Fill in Your Shop Preferences
This is a simple and brief step where Etsy wants to know about you and your business. Since they have your name and email address, they want to know your preferred default language.
You can choose from a wide range of languages that you can choose from depending on your preferred one. Note that when you have chosen your language, it cannot be changed.
The next thing is choosing the country where your shop will be located. In other words, your country of residence. If you are in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Austria, New Zealand, India, Italy, etc., you can sell on Etsy.
So, if you are in Africa and want to create your own website for small business, then use the other two methods we discussed in our previous articles. Finally, you will choose your currency and whether you are a full or part-time seller in this step.
However, our readers from Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and other African countries cannot sell on Etsy except for Morocco. Unless you use some crooked ways like VPN and stuff, but that’s not allowed by Etsy.
