This one almost got me laughing because I could not imagine how awesome this homeowners insurance policy is to the insured. Just imagine that your house is being repaired and that means you have to relocate for some time, say for a week.
If you have to stay at a hotel, this policy will cover all the expenses. That is awesome. The insurance company will pay for the hotel room, restaurant food, and any other expenses incurred as you were waiting for your house to be repaired.
To me, this is the best cover you will ever get as a homeowner. However, the insurance company knows some of us will fly to a Caribbean Island and book for a presidential suite in a five-star hotel.
That’s why they put a limit on how much you can use every day. So, don’t just jump and start spending, thinking that the insurer will cater for the expenses. Instead, play within the given limit. Nevertheless, if you have an extra amount in your bank, you can go beyond the limit set by the insurer.
