When they say never underestimate the power of a woman, perhaps they were referring to Taylor Swift who has the power to pull millions of fans.

As though Ticketmaster had forgotten that Taylor Swift has a great fan base, they provided few tickets than demanded.

That made the site experience millions of Taylor's fan flocking for tickets. That caused slow queues and disruptions on the site.

Seeing their site has become slow due to the heavy traffic, the Ticketmaster took to social media to announce the issues being experienced.

“There has been historically unprecedented demand with millions showing up to buy tickets for the TaylorSwiftTix Presale,” the company said.

The ticket seller also noted that hundreds of thousands of tickets were sold and everyone who had purchased their tickets are good to go.

According to various observers, this Eras tour could break Taylor Swift's record when it comes to ticket sales in North America.

Will this mega presale of tickets beat the previous of Taylor Swift's events that she has held across the United States?

Opening acts for the U.S. leg of the tour include Paramore, Haim, Phoebe Bridgers, Beabadoobee, Girl in Red, Muna, Gayle, Gracie Abrams and Owenn.

Don't think that the tickets are so cheap; the “Eras” tour tickets are priced from $49 to $450, with VIP packages starting at $199 and reaching $899

Ticketmaster has rescheduled a number of ticket queues in order to deal with demand, including West Coast venues and Capital One onsale.

Some fans were quite irritated with the crash or the freezing of the website due to the high number of traffic. They expressed their anger on social media.

“We’re sorry! Something went wrong on our end and we need to start over. Broken things are a drag — our team is on it so it doesn’t happen again.”

Some other fans were complaining of long wait times and confusion over “verified fan” tickets and presale codes.
