What could be some of the possible causes of an airplane crash landing some minutes after taking off?

Well, there are many reasons including bad weather, untrained pilot, & engine malfunction among others.

But for this Nairobi Park aircraft crash, was there bad weather in Nairobi? Of course, not, it has been sunny.

Was the plane having some malfunctioning engine? Well, according to Langa’ta OCPD Monica Kimani, it is yes.

Was the pilot experienced enough to fly the aircraft? Well, he was a trainee pilot but he knew how to operate.

According to the Langa’ta OCPD Monica Kimani, the aircraft developed some issues shortly after takeoff

The light aircraft took off from Wilson Airport and shortly crash landed at Nairobi National Park near Southern Bypass.

The air craft, Cessna registration number 5YBWE, was left in rumbles after the crash at the National park

Luckily, the four passengers on board, a pilot and three trainees, came out of the horrible crash unhurt. It was a miracle!

“None of them has been injured, just slight bruises and they have been airlifted...." Monica Kimani, the OCPD said

"....airlifted by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), and taken to Wilson Airport for medical checkup,” Kimani added.

The four passengers onboard included three trainees and the pilot. It seems they were learning how to fly.

The police, a rescue team from KWS, and some fire engines hurried to the scene to contain the situation.
