It was a great and tough day at Etihad Stadium in Manchester as one of the richest team in the EPL was playing Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund may seem to be an easy team to play but that theory quickly changed for the Manchester City when they almost lost to Dortmund
The first half for this Group G was quite hectic and nobody was willing to step into each others territory hence no goals.
However, that quickly changed in the second half after Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham fired the first goal into Man City's goal at the 56th minute
As usual for most teams, Borussia Dortmund went back to tighten their defense wall to protect the only goal they had scored.
That gave Manchester City an opportunity to keep firing to Dortmund post. Their efforts yielded fruits on the 80th minute when they scored an equalizer.
It can be said that John Stones saved the day and opened the guts for the Man City to fire more after thrashing the goal from 25 yards
Now, every team was looking for just one goal and then go back to defense until the game is over. Ad Manchester City got it right.
On the 84th minute, Manchester city's Erling Haaland (Joao Cancelo) sank the ship and hopes of Borussia Dortmund after scoring the second goal.
The game ended after 8 minutes and Manchester City amazingly emerged the winner. The final score was 2-1.
