How to Know the CPC and the Competition Level of Any Keyword
This was one of my worries when I was starting this journey. I could hear bloggers talking about CPC, but I never understood what it was all about. After much research, I found these two platforms that I have been using for years.
Beautifully, these two websites are free, which guarantees us better AdSense revenue since our costs are zero. Here are the websites:
a) Google keyword planner
To get to the google keyword planner, you need to navigate to your Google Ads website. If you have not opened one, it is quite simple. Go to Google Ads home page and click “Start Now.”
Then choose your advertising goal: it could be to get more calls, more website sales, more visits to your location, or to create brand awareness. Finally, click “Next” and choose the customers you want to target.
Enter your business name, and your website, tick the Google analytics, search console, and mobile visibility. Then click on “Continue with Google Ads.” When it comes to creating your ad, click next.
They may need your billing address and credit card number to complete the setup process. However, they will not charge you anything. We aim to create a Google Ads account and go to the dashboard.
On your dashboard, click on the “Tools & Settings” at the top of the website. Then click on the “Keyword Planner” and then on “Discover New Keywords.” When entering your keyword, remember to change the location to where you want to target. For example, if you want to target global, you will remove any default country that has been set.
After you have typed in your keyword and clicked “Get Results,” you will see a table showing you all the values from the monthly searches, competition level, the lowest, and the highest CPC bid.
We need a keyword with high monthly searches (if you don’t have enough website visits already), low competition, and high CPC to boost our AdSense revenue.

If we get such a keyword, we are sure our AdSense revenue will increase in this festive season. In addition, various companies, blogs, and organizations have used this Google advertising platform to get a competitive advantage over their competitors by ranking on the first page of Google.
