Princess Charlotte Pays Special Tribute To Queen Elizabeth At Funeral

Princess Charlotte paid tribute to her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth by sporting a significant piece of jewellery to the monarch’s state funeral on Monday.

The Princess of Wales donned a diamond brooch within the form of a horseshoe, noted Lauren Kiehna, author and editor of The Court Jeweller. Keihna identified that this was the primary “important” piece of jewellery that we’ve seen the 7-year-old princess put on.

Queen Elizabeth was an avid admirer of horses, with a ardour for horse racing.

On Sunday, Buckingham Palace launched the order of service for the queen’s state funeral, revealing that the younger royal and her brother, Prince George, 9, would participate in the procession for Queen Elizabeth at Westminster Abbey.

Charlotte and George have been set to stroll behind their mother and father, Prince William and Kate Middleton, however as a substitute walked alongside them.
